A HELPING HAND WITH MORE

Assisted Living is the area for those still able to maintain general independence, but who require an "assist", which is defined as "supportive or safety measures for stabilizing a resident by one Personal Care Attendant." Residents in Assisted Living generally require assistance with bathing, making their bed, combing hair, waking up in the morning and monitoring medication. Assisted Living residents should be independently mobile or require the use of an ambulation device such as a cane, walker, wheelchair or motorized scooter. Assisted Living is often used as a transitional residential arrangement for residents to regain independence after a nursing care or hospital stay.

Each private and semi-private unit may be fully furnished, or furnished with your own personal furnishings. Like the Personal Care Apartment, your unit is beautifully decorated with wall-to-wall carpeting, sheers, and wall coverings.

Each unit features individually controlled heating and air-conditioning, sound proof walls, large closet space, refrigerator, safety-equipped bath with shower and seat, and levered door handles for easy access.

Weekly housekeeping is provided by the housekeeping staff, as well as fresh linens. For your convenience, laundry facilities are located on each floor, or we can arrange for your own personal laundry service.

Three meals a day are served in the assisted living dining room.
