FULL SERVICE NURSING CARE
Brookwood's Nursing Care Center is certified for Medicare and Medicaid and is a comprehensive nursing care facility, with a staff of qualified medical professionals providing convalescent care, rehabilitation and extended care for those requiring continuing professional support and supervision. Skilled and intermediate nursing care is available from Brookwood's team of medical professionals. Some of the more acute medical services the professional staff at Brookwood provides include peritoneal dialysis, chemotherapy, and pain management. 
Each suite has been carefully designed to provide a warm, inviting atmosphere for you to visit with family and friends. Large comfortable furniture in this open, airy space provides a "home like" setting to help you reach your maximum level of wellness. And guests are always welcome here, just as they were in your own home. Each nursing care unit (private or semi-private) is beautifully decorated with wall-to-wall carpeting, sheers, matching drapes, and soft, colored wallcoverings. And of course, residents are encouraged to bring their personal mementos to add that "finishing touch." Each nursing care suite features sound proof walls, individually controlled heating and air-conditioning, large closet space, safety-equipped private bath with shower and seat, levered door handles for easy access and a nurse call system linked directly to the nursing station. Daily housekeeping with fresh linens is provided and three meals a day are served to each of our residents. 
The qualified team of healthcare professionals at Brookwood is fully committed to providing for your wellness and care in the Nursing Care Center. This dedicated team has years of experience providing the kind of nursing care residents require. They will work diligently with your attending physician to assist you in your program of prescribed care or rehabilitation. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and pharmacy services are available to each resident as needed. Your progress is closely monitored by this team, and if your level of wellness increases, a move to Assisted Living or to your own home, is encouraged.
